OK, this doesn't mention anything about a USA tour but below are some more great indications of furthering QUEEN+PR into 2006 and beyond...check this out from Classic Rock Magazine:

Q+PR - BAND OF THE YEAR
Band Of The Year - Queen + Paul Rodgers

Sponsored by: Marshall Voted For By: Classic Rock readers

The act you (Classic Rock readers) voted Band Of The Year were also short listed in the Event Of The Year category, such was the impact of their collaboration. If it at first seemed that fans were divided, all doubt were quashed when people saw just how entertaining their live show really was. No one, not even Paul Rodgers, can replace Freddie Mercury, but that wasn't what this collaboration was about. QPR (as they were soon dubbed) was the celebration of the music of Queen, Free and Bad Company - some of the best rock music ever made.

"Great to have this fantastic vote of confidence in our new incarnation. The fact that it was real people voting and not a bunch of self styled experts, this really means alot to us...WE will rock you further!"
Roger X

"Wonderful!! The fans have spoken and I would like to thank them."
Paul Rodgers

"Dear Readers of Classic Rock,
Many thanks for voting us, Queen plus Paul Rodgers, Band Of The Year. It's great compliment to a band that is still in its infancy!! We hope to continue exploring new frontiers and pleasing the hell of you"
Love Bri

Especially look at Rog & Bri's comments about the future...this is a HUGE boost for them and does nothing but push them to get working more together (studio, another tour, etc., etc., etc....)!!!!!!!

But I kind of understanbd him. He simply doesn't want to say too much and commit totally and tahn decide he doesn't enjoy it. It's better to talk safely, just in case.

In fairness to Paul, he's a hired gun with not much attachment or history with these songs. It's a good paying gig, but as a long time Queen fan, I've never heard Paul's name in any Queen stories. I'm sure that Jeff Scott Soto or GAry Cherone (well, maybe not Gary after the VH debacle) would give their eye teeth for this gig. Don't see it that way for Paul.

You know, good times are now.

How is "Wonderful!! The fans have spoken and I would like to thank them" on the fence? He was graciously responding to an accolade and wasn't in any way obligated to say anything about more touring. We don't even know if that was the entire quote. If he had been asked about more touring and gave an ambivalent answer, that would be on the fence. In this instance, he's not even in the same yard as the fence, let alone on either side or astride it. You're just trying to make Paul the bad guy and venting your frustration that the US tour isn't a concrete reality at this point. Be patient. It will either happen or it won't.

Paul did a great job, and he has a more beautifull/power voice than most of the other options. I think it must be hard for him to read all the time all the bullshit about the impossibility of replacing the greatest of all time, etc, etc, that newspapers like to write so much.

It`s a pity that newspapers only realised the greatness of Freddie after Queen decided to tour with Paul.

And Paul is not any singer, he`s one of the best of all time in the blues, and if you want my opinion he`s as much irreplacable in Free as Freddie is in Queen, and i doubt that Freddie could do better in Free than Paul does in Queen.

I think that this is the last colaboration that Queen do with another singer, and we fans should really welcome Paul and make him feel confortable.
I was very sad to see the "Imagine" version on the latest DVD where the crowd cheered Roger more than Paul.

I was sad because i really think that he`s as much valuable on stage as Brian and Roger, and this kind of behaviour by the Queen fans might influence him in a sub-conscious level and he might refuse to tour again. And he´s been very nice for the fans that attended the shows. Just remember, if he does so, there will be no Queen in the future.

Take care

I agree- Paul was absolutely awesome towards the fans. He knew they (we) had doubts, he didn't get angry or arrogant- he was slowly trying to... reach for us :) (pun intended). I've got nothing but praise. And when you mention "Imagine"- I remember when they played "Seagull" at Brixton. Extremely beautiful song. paul on acoustic, singing BEAUTIFULLY this great ballad. Roger joins on bongos. Suddenly huge roar because- OMH Roger appeared on stage. I mean- no shit, he's been there for a while already. The audience cheers and so you lose this am,azing chorus. Bollocks. No wonder they dropped this... And that was one of the most amazing tracks on this tour... So instead we got corny "Say It's Not true"- this time somehow fans were able to listen carefully... I found THAT a bit disappointing...

I have to say Bobby, you pretty much summed up my thoughts. I mean, there are a ton of great singers, they just sing in different "fields" you could say, and that's what makes them who they are. The sad thing is that we are running out of these amazing people, and so society is accepting anyone who has a label. Back to the point. I am looking foward to the possibility of shows in 2006. And to think, just a few months away! Have a day people, have a day.

Don't make me come over there and smack you upside the head, it takes too much energy!
