Recently, I was looking through the program from the Meadowlands show on 10/16.
In one of the photos of Roger playing, he's holding the left stick backwards and you can see the base of the stick. They are Vic Firth sticks, signature series. On the Vic Firth website, it states that he uses the model 5B, mentioning nothing about a signature series. Does anyone know who's signature sticks he uses???

He has his own name printed on them for him just as he did when he used Premier sticks, not sure if they are available to buy yet.

I agree. They're really good sticks and I also agree about the weight. Mine are 5A and like Roger I've always played the sick in my left hand backwards. To me it feels like even weight and you get a better whack out of the snare.

Pople a Question , there are two version of the Vic Firth 5b, there are one with the nylon protected head, and the other is the all wood made, is this different in the sound, do Roger uses the all wood made?

Roger uses the wood made ones. He usually turns them round and is hitting the drums with the back end. That and the fact that he is very sensibly controlling his sticks is astounding! I adore his style and I think he's the only drummer to do so.
