I see their website works as good as ever :-)

Looks to be around 110 - 120 Platinum tickets available.

Yes, after I got my tickets I checked back to see what was happening. Platinum packages are available one minute, then sold out the next, alternating on and off. I imagine Mark Weiss is gleefully sitting in some sweatbox office in New York somewhere switching the screens to try and get us to panic.

It appears that there were very few, if any, of the higher priced tickets available for the Glendale show...I could only find the cheaper seats and I started right when the presale started...the VIP packages had the better tickets available...

I got on right when it started and accidentally clicked on the VIP tix first, (and there's no way I'm paying $595) but I got 3 of the $100 tix for the San Diego Cox Arena show. I couldn't get 3 of the $130's together. It looks like we're in section S, row 13, but I'm not sure if that's floor or the first risers off the floor.

I just tried, for 10 minutes, for the $130 tickets in San Diego. They wouldn't sell me two seats together. So I looked at the Gold VIP seats and got 2 for $395 each. Ouch! But they're great seats (section CCC, Row 3), and I'm a Queen freak. These will be much better seats than I had at the Hollywood Bowl, where I paid a similar amount and wasn't very close to the stage.

likecats, you got excellent seats, right next to the VIP Suite. It's always interesting to see who sits in the VIP suite, sometimes the band's family members, other rock stars, industry big shots, etc. You'll find it interesting, to say the least.

I'm considering going to the San Diego show with some friends but I haven't got their money yet. Could some of you who have used this Artist Arena service before tell something about it? What to you recommend? I read that some people got crappy seats on the presale while others got better ones right before the show. I remember buying tickets for the Vienna and Leipzig gigs a couple of months before but those had been for sale for some weeks by then. I still got general admission for both. Do you think the tickets for this or other gigs will sell out quickly??

Need advice over here..

Wiley

Wiley, I wasn't particularly thrilled with the way some of the ticket sales were handled for the Hollywood Bowl, as some pretty good seats were still available just before the show. But I don't recommend you take that chance. Even the worst seat in the house, or even the most expensive, is much better than no seat at all. Everyone who goes to a Queen concert leaves on a high, never regretting whatever they spent. So I recommend you get tickets soon rather than later, and go for whatever seats/price best match your expectation of value for the money.

Yeah, I know it's quite an experience, having been to some shows so far but it's just that I remember a lot of negative feedback with this kind of presale that I thought I should ask. Either way, I'll talk to my friends and we'll try to buy them as soon as possible.

Thanks for the tip..

Wiley

What the fcuk is all this talk about seats?????

Do none of these gigs have standing areas?

Are you all going to be sitting politely applauding or something?????

What's going on? Please tell me that I'm reading these posts incorrectly and that some of you are at least standing?

Cheers

Paul

It just means that we aren't fortunate enough to have general admission.

Paul mate...

Here in the States most concerts have seating and very few gigs are General Admission shows.

Don't worry though...most folks tend to stand up the entire time and go completely mad with excitement. The only folks who tend to sit are the older lot, and some of the guests.

There weren't any of the higher priced ($200) tickets in Seattle either... it makes me wonder if they were there at all, since I tried to order the minute the presale started.

Guys...why are you bothering with the pe-sales?

Last tour we all learned the hard way that pre-sales suck! The tickets sold are not the "best seats availible" and it was shown to be so. The week of the show, better tickets were availible to anyone for face value!

I'm just trying to help....it makes me sad to see history seeming to repeat itself and seemingly being misled again.

I bought tickets during the presale because I can't risk not going at all.

The ticketmaster price is seventy dollars more than what I just paid, and it looks like my seats are about 6 or 7 rows back from the catwalk.

I'm going to try to get tickets for the Vancouver show too. I just don't have enough faith to not buy tickets until the end.
