I am, in no way whatsoever, chastizing or belittling the meaning or importance of World AIDS Day, which is today.

I find it ironic, though. A week after we are reminded of the death of our great friend Freddie Mercury, we are also reminded of the deaths of thousands upon thousands, as well as the millions worldwide that are living with AIDS.

It is a sad thing to know that there are people living with this uncurable disease, and that there is not much we can do as of now. But we can always hope...hope for a better tomorrow for these people across the nation, and around the world...

We can only grow the way the wind blows

On a bare and weathered shore

We can only bow to the here and now

In our elemental war

Yeah i find it really upsetting that we have another day to remember this illness with, after our greatest singer dying of AIDs we have so many more people out there facing the same problem.
I sent some money, they were going round my school with red ribbions and i got one for giving some money i'm happy to take part in it even if it's not alot at least it's something.

In that Alanis Morrisette song most of things she sings aren't ironic in anyway. Which in itself quite ironic.

God I'm confused now.

After all these years, I still can't decide whether she's an idiot for not creating ironies, or a genius for creating the ultimate irony detailed above. If it was intentional, I do think it's quite genius, but I have my doubts...
