Body Language

But i think the video is hot, Freddie with his lovely leather clothes and cool shades, Roger with his cute smile near to the end, Brian when he clicks and he gives a harsh little look while clicking, John right at the end with his excited smile.

Body Language, Party, and to an extent Staying Power (though it's great live). The other two have no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

Everything else has at least something good about it, usually Brian's guitar. I've found that he can often make a song better with a guitar solo.

The song sucks and video sucks even more. It's the most god awful thing that the band ever done.

Party is great especially how it mixes with Khashoggi's Ship at the end.

I don't think any song of Queen's is pointless, exactly. There' some I don't like but every one of them was created with an intent and a purpose...I mean, even people like Britney Spears have a point when they release material.

Possibly the entire Flash album? I love the band, but (and maybe it's because the movie absolutely hoovered), the cuts never grabbed me. That brings me to four cents tossed in.

Pointless???

Oh, yes, 'Put Out The Fire'...absolutely.....

an anti-gun message, in line with the 'Life Is Real' track......in honor of John Lennon, killed by MD Chapman.

true brilliant posting by a naive dumb phuk

btw....what's you're 8th favorite Smile track from the 'Nutshell' CD?

For me there isn't such a thing as a pointless Queen song.
I'm not a fan of Body language either, though some of the live versions sound pretty good.

Anyway your list sucks.

In my honest, humble opinion, no Queen songs are pointless!

How on earth can you say 'Dear Friends', 'You And I' and 'The Hero' are pointless songs? They are all excellent!

'Dear Friends' is a beautiful song, 'You And I' is one of Deacon's best and should have been a single in my opinion. As for 'The Hero', best song by far on the 'Flash Gordon' album/soundtrack. It has great music and harmonies on it, especially the explosive ending! 'Put Out The Fire' is a decent enough rock track. Not their best but certainly not pointless.

Please define what you mean by 'pointless'?

Agreed, 'Delilah' and 'Body Language' are not their best pieces of work but 'Delilah' is quite funny, cute and cool guitar sounds at the end. With 'Body Language', at least they tried something new and different.

If I was pushed to say a 'pointless' song as you put it, I would say... 'Yeah'

Body language is cool! Its good to hear queen move into a new direction, even though it proved not very popular with most people. Dear friends remains my most hated queen song

How you can defend Body Language and say Dear Friends is bad is beyond me...

For me these are the pointless songs;
Cool Cat- it's rather limp even though Fred's voice is good on it.
Anyone of Brain May's folky songs except for '39 or maybe Leaving Home Ain't Easy which are okay.
The only others would be Pain/Pleasure, Don't Lose Your Head and maybe Rain Must Fall
