What happened to John Lennon 25 years ago should not have happened. I know Queen performed Iagine as a tribute to him the night after he died and recorded Life is Real as a dedication song to him.

"Spread your wings and fly away, fly away, far away!", "No one makes me sing lullabies and no one makes me close my eyes"

We miss ya mate...

The world today could learn a lot from listening to some of his later work.

On the radio at this time of year i hear his Christmas song and it always tears me up a little inside. If you live here in the States, and the way things are these days, the lyrics are exspecially potent when you think of the crazy crap going on in the world now ( Iraq and all)

Bless ya John wherever you are.

Yes 25 years ago tonight at 10.58pm the bastard mark chapman took away one of the best songwriters and innovative people to ever walk this earth, such a shame he's not here anymore and the really sad thing is that he'd just released his first album in 5 years and was ready to go on a world tour in 1981.

All i can say is REST IN PEACE JOHN LENNON HOPE YOUR HAVING A GOOD TIME UP WITH GEORGE,FREDDIE JIMI AND MANY MORE.
