It doesn't have a theme, it is a collection of songs.

The songs on one side are called side white, while the songs on the other are called side black, while 'Seven Seas Of Rhye' continues where it left off on the debut Queen album.

That's about it really. Anything else is speculation.

I always thought that the Black side had a theme attacthed to it, how the songs lead in and out of each other.

well it all turned out as some sort of fairy tale...
yeah... that's what it seems.

And if The March Of The Black Queen is about a love relationship, maybe Nevermore is the reason (??) and then the main character goes insane and then Funny How Love Is

it is sort of a war. the albums white side is a tale of the heroes. the black side is a tale of the villians. the battle takes place in 7 seas of ryhe.

Although we know this isn't the true explanation of the 2 songs, I think it is a good read and very creatively made up.

'White Queen': Someone should tell him that it is actually about a blind girl Brian saw on his way to work every day.
