I've always reckoned the beat of 'Keep Passing The Open windows' is just a faster version of 'A Kind Of Magic', i was wondering if anybody would want to make a mix out of the two?

I think it would be really good, but i'm sure a few of you lot woudl disagree, i don't really have the knowledge or equipment to do anything like the mixes you do, so i was just throwing some ideas into the air.

I'm starting to become conscious of being negative about a lot of suggestions, but in this case, I really don't think the two tracks would gel. They are both different tempos, and miles apart production wise. Good luck to anyone who tries this, but in my opinion, it would turn out a bit of a mess.

I don't really think it'd be possible to mesh these two together using the existing recordings. If Freddie Mercury were to re-record himself saying "it's a kind of magic' at a higher pitch, it'd actually work since the bassline's so similar.

Not that I'm about to attempt it, but a better match for KPTOW might be Breakthru. It's a more similar tempo, but again, the sound of each track is very different, so it would be a real challenge to make a mix which sounds listenable.

I don't even think they're in the same key. So even if the tempos were extremely close/dead on, I doubt they'd sound good together anyway.

Yes Breakthru is another one... I've always seen Don't Stop Me Now, Keep Passing the Open Windows and Breakthru as a trio of sorts.
