I heard that queen had a crisis, in the 80's, beacuse of all the new things was happening. such as; the punk and funk wave were hitting Queen and so on, but i dont find it clearly..
What do you think/know?

Growing pains - most bands can't adjust to change and simply die. Queen no doubt found themselves in very strange territory from the late 70's onward, with the birth of punk and pop, but they came through alright - Hot Space was a flop, which probably let them know that imitation wasn't cool, but they found their niche again with some of The Works, and most of A Kind Of Magic.

Punk was around in the '70s. So was Funk.
Every band eventually has to reinvent themselves and Queen is no different.
