I have been a Queen fan since trying to get some nonBeatles music to hear about say last chistmas, i put hit WWRY edition on my amazon wish list. i got it in march as a late birthday presnt (my bday is Jan 8) listened first to my then favorite song "Bohemian Rhapsody" well rounded remaster i thought noticing lack of tape hiss. then due to fualty technology it skipped the rest of "Bohemian Rhapsody" and went on to "Another One Bites The Dust" i said "better than the last one" my sister came and asked if "Fat Bottomed Girls" was on it at that very moment(after i said yes of course) "Killer Queen" came on and it rocked from that moment on to Bicycle Race, Killer Queen WAS the best song ever. I quickly changed that mind set when Bicycle Race came on and again at Seven Seas Of Rhye and Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy. when We Will Rock You came on i became disapionted that it was on the album. months later the same has become for Bohemian Rhapsody" since that day i have aquirred Five Queen Studio albums and countless bootlegs. in the beginning my friends tried to talk me out of being a Queen fan because (and solely because) Freddie was a bisexual (they said full blown gay untill i taught them otherwise) i said that that is discrimination and that they should SHUT THE FRIG UP (i was in school so frig was the best i could do with out being punnished)since that time period here is my official Queen Material list in order i got them.
Jazz
Sheer Heart Attack
News of The World
Live At Wembly DVD
The Game
A Night At The Opera
Greatest Video Hits 1

So in closing
I have been a Queen Fan for nearly a year this music has changed my life, For the better. AMEN.

What I wouldn't give to be in this position again, its been nearly 15 years but I clearly remember getting to discover each album knowing very few songs, if any, on each one. And never being disapointed by a single one (well, except for Flash Gordon Soundtrack, that is). You have several great albums still to get, and I would recommend first getting A Day at the Races, as I guarantee that you will be amazed by it. Anyway, thanks for the post as its always enjoyable to be reminded of what it was like to discover the Queen catalogue.

Yeah, one set of presents, always cold on your birthday, nobody's got any money to spend on you..

Whoo fucking hoo.

August is the preferred month - never have to go to school, nice warm nights for going out and having a good time.
