Well... Rock It was recorded in the first half of 1980, James was born in June 1978... I don't know, but sounds like a fake. But I can be wrong in this case, because of the quality of track.

If you get message about "after new year we will be faster blah blah blah" - just press "Reload" few times and you'll get the file.

So the title is fake, as you see.

Here's something by Mr Stuart:
"Rock It
Mack 2000: Roger Taylor wanted to Sing Rock It, While Mack and Brian suggested Freddie should do it. Both versions were recorded, John voted for Roger, Brian voted for Freddie, so they decided to put Freddie in the intro and Roger on the remainder of the track.
Album Version - Game: EMI CDP 7 46213 2
2003 DVD Audio 5.1 Surround Version(s) - EMI 592 7809
Freddie Mercury Version - Unreleased
Roger Taylor Version - Unreleased"

We'd better wait for the experts' opinion about that track :)

Actually this isn´t fake at all and in fact it´s an amateur recording of Queen and Mack (and also Jimmy May!) listening to the chorus of Rock It in the studio, during of course, The Game sessions (c1979).

That's exactly what it sounded like to me.

I can't see how this could be fake in any way, as whatever it is, the master tapes to Rock It are clearly involved, as the mix of the vocals changes throughout the song, to the point where they become completely isolated at one point.

BUMP

Another interesting snippet I've never heard! I also believe this is not fake. I cut a lot of the low-end crap out and it's easier to hear that this is pretty impressive.

Peace,
Adam.

Could you share your fixed version, Adam?
