Isn't it quite likely that Roger was inspired by Deep Purple's "Highway Star", released in 1972? Everytime I hear the scream in the beginning, it reminds me of My Fairy King. And the lyrics are about cars and girls...what do you think?

PS: No, I'm not one of those guys who are addicted to secret messages in songs when you play them backwards. ;-)

Crikey, how many millions of rock songs are about cars and girls??!! Lol! I would say that many bands inspired each other in the early 70's, but I would put Queen closer to Led Zeppelin that to Deep Purple.
