A girl in my mythology class did a report for her final paper on this. It went something (with much more detail) like this ...

Genghis Khan loved his ladies. He also liked to have them in furs, but in summer over in some lands he conquered, they couldn't wear such heavy garments. Silk prints of leopard skin were enough to satisfy Mr. Khan. So eventually over time Queen Victoria found this silk stuff as well. Ladies who moved to America and were of high enough stature would wear scarves with the letter V on them of silk, indicating they were a part of that high society. So there it is. Queen Victoria's Secret of silk.

I wish I could get a copy of her paper. She did a much better job explaining it. Anyhow ... yeah.

that is pretty spot on from what ive heard too about victoria's secret. I personally dont likethe store, overpriced and bra shopping is always depressing for me.
I like shopping at nordstroms, my favorite lines being LAMB and Juicy couture. Guess is okay too. I like shopping at Demo because they carry baby phat jeans (whihc i love). I also like Baby the Stars Shine Bright, Atelier Boz and Moi Meme Moitie, which are unfortunately only available in japan but i can still buy them online :)

yes ebay is great! I get a lot of stuff off of there too.
I dont know whats up with sizing now a days, I know there are scads of girls out there skinnier than me but I find smalls are too big and few stores carry extra smalls in items. :( crazy resizing for the increasing overweight population.

Sears for me. Kohles ain't to shabby either. I would never shop in a store that plays loud music, keeps the lighting dim, or has a complicated entrance. Just sell me a pair of jeans, dammit! I don't want to buy a style.

I think I might be realizing that I may be a touch boring. Might wear a collar tomorrow. Yes, the blue cotton number with a couple buttons an a nice, non-popped collar.

I swear, if I see that douchebag with the pink popped collar again this year, I'll run him down with my car. Some people just don't know how rediculous they look.

the secret is that in the ads they use paint rather than the actual product to get more lesbians to shop there by sublimininal ads
