I need help. Im doing a research paper on Freddie Mercury and how cocaine effected his life. I need to know how it effected his physical, mental, and social health. Any Ideas as to where i can get the information? (i need some resources.) Anything you guys know that might help?

Thanks in advance!

I seriously doubt that you will find anything useful or remotely accurate enough for a 'paper'

I suggest you contact Feebie, he might tell you.

Well, Im not doing the ENTIRE paper on him. Part of it is the facts about cocaine itself, and another part is about David Bowie and cocaine. So i dont need alot. just enough for a paragraph or two.

As far as most people know from what has been written it appears that YES he did use coke but it seems as though it was only used as a recreational drug. We don't hear stories of him in rehab or any overdoses. I think he used it responsibly and never to over indulge. Living a fast lifestyle in the music business can take it toll on our heroes but Freddie seemed to have a good head on his shoulders and was probably smart enough to know when enough was enough.

Didn't Freddie say something like he couldn't sleep or sit for too long? Wouldn't that be an affect of cocaine? And his weight - or lack thereof :-) - wouldn't that have something to do with it also? Or not? What do I know? The hardest drug I've ever used is caffeine. :-\
