I am, admittedly, not an expert in this field. Why is this statement so? And how should it be brought about? What are some examples of modern socialist leaders?

Michelle Bachelet seems like a moderate leftist, so I guess it can't be bad.

She will follow the way of Ricardo Lagos, who is a moderated leftish... I think she will do a good job after all

After all?

Let me introduce to you all who is Michelle Bachellet:

1. She is a Doctor, daughter of the general Alberto Bachelet, who was killed by the Pinochet's dictatorship. She and her mother was torturated by the militaries, and they were expelled from the country. They had to live in Australia first, and Germany then.

2. Bachelet came back to Chile as soon as she can to finish her studies, then she began to work on a nongovernmental organization who helped to tortured children and their tortured parents.

3. In Ricardo Lagos government she was the first female to became Minister of Health, and then also she became the first latinamerican female as a Defense Minister (remember she have studies in military politics).

4. She recently (last sunday) was elected as the first female person to become the next President of Chile.

5. She is agnostic, divorced, mother of three children (she raised her three children by herself).

6. And as last, i want to say that she won't be like Ricardo Lagos, 'cause Lgos have debts with people, things that he promised and he could not fulfill. In the economic part of the country he did it well, but lack to advance much.

I hope that my country can advance much more and only hope that in the bicentennial my country can far better be

Greetings from Chile.
