Well, I've sung the Spanish part of Las Parablas De Amor, but I don't suppose that counts.

This can't end well.

I tried to to do '39 in French for my Final Project for french class, but I tried, crashed/burned, and then decided against it. I would have gotten an F cos I didn't know half the words or what they meant in the song...

We are, we are the saints

We signed our life away

Doesn't matter what you think

We're gonna do it anyway

We are, we are the saints

One day you will confess

And pray to the

Saints of Los Angeles

Yes...I've tried singing Bohemian Rhapsody in Afrikaans, it's pretty darn funny if only because the words sound so strange compared to the original, and I can never find metric equivalents in Afrikaans for the original words...

"Mama...ek't net 'n man doodgemaak...
het 'n vuurwapen teen sy kop gesit
het die skoot laat tref en nou's hy dood"

(Mama...just killed a man...etc.)

Mama, die lewe het maar net begin
en nou het ek dit alles weggegooi...

(Mama, life had just begun etc.)

Lol I like translating the lyrics purely for the amusement factor...

I have translated the lyrics of BoRhap, Liar and Prophet's Song into German with the right metrum/rhythm; it was really a hard work, but I enjoy doing it anyway.

March of the black Queen in medival Dutch.

Eene stem van achteren herdenckt my
Spreidt Uw wieken uyt, ghy zijt een engel
Vergeet niet om te zenden met de vaart des lichts
Een vleughje minne ende vreughd
Alles dat ghy doet draagt eene wil
Een waerom, en eene waervoor
Een vleughje minne ende vreughd

In ieder elke ziel ligt eene man
En aldra zal hy bedrieghen ende ontdecken
Maer zelfsch tot aen het eind van zyn tyd
Brenght hy een vleughe minne ende vreughd
Verdringh Uw liederen en Uw wieghelied
Geeft U over aen den Stad der Vuurvliegen
Dansch tot den Duyvel in maet met den groep
Naer den Hel met elkeen hand in hand
Thans is het tyd om te tygen

I translated the lyrics to "The Show Must Go On" into Italian once. I tried singing it that way, but I found it impossible.

Never said I could.
And, Luke, call me English and I'll break your arms and legs.
And I know what I'm talking about. It's a Scottish word, too, you know.

Lol I shud try translating a few snatches of Queen songs into Latin. Though that would be a rather painstaking excercise...but I'm sure the end result would be amusing lol. Afrikaans is easy for me though I just want to find some nice lyrics.

This is surprisngly fun lol. So here is Play the Game in sort of colloquial Afrikaans, though a half-literal translation. So not how one would actually speak.

Play The Game
Words and music by Freddie Mercury

Maak jou kop oop en laat ek binnestap
Rus jou moeë kop en laat jou hart besluit
Dis so maklik, as jy die reëls ken!
Dis so maklik, al wat jy moet doen
Is verlief raak
Speel die spelletjie
Almal speel die spelletjie, van die liefde

As jy teneergedruk voel en jou weerstand is laag
Steek nog 'n sigaret aan, en laat jouself weggaan
Dit is jou lewe
Moenie moeilik-om-te-kry speel
Dis 'n vrye wêreld
Al wat jy moet doen, is verlief raak
Speel die spelletjie, almal speel die spelletjie van die liefde

My spelletjie van die liefde het maar net begin
Die liefde arsel van my kop tot onder in my tone
My liefde vlooi deur my are (speel die spelletjie)
Dat maak my heeltemal mal
Kom kom kom kom speelie spelletjie, speelie spelletjie, speel
die spelletjie speel die spelletjie

Speel die spelletjie almal speel die spelletjie van die liefde

Dit is jou lewe - moenie moeilik-om-te-kry speel
Dis 'n vrye wêreld Al wat jy moet doen, is verlief raak
Speel die spelletjie, ja speel die spelletjie van die liefde
Jou lewe - moenie moeilik-om-te-kry speel
Dis 'n vrye wêreld Al wat jy moet doen, is verlief raak
Speel die spelletjie - almal speel die spelletjie...
