"What would Freddie think of Brian and etc?"
"How do you think Freddie would have blah blah blah?"

Hmmm, gee. I don't know. Let me go and ask Freddie, okay?
Oh wait, that's right; I can't. No one can.

No one here knew Freddie, and over half weren't even alive when he was, so that brings up the ever so present question: Why do people talk as if they knew him?
It's great to discuss him, that's no lie. But it gets to be a bit silly when we start putting words and emotions in a dead man's mouth and call it 'his.'
Maybe we're a bit obsessed my fellow Queenies?
Cheers

I don't want to connect to the dead anyway, scary shit.

I'm only joking when I pretend I knew him personally, and I usually make quite some funny jokes about that, heh.

Take this one from my sister, for example:
"Did you know (pause) That I helped make the album Jazz? No, really, I was a part of Queen for a little during the 70s."

I'm so pissed I could spit.

Yessssss exactly. I completely agree with you. Damn. Some people are imbecilic, they make up words for Freddie and go "Yup, that's what he would have said/done" If you didn't know him personally, then don't say those foolish things about him

These forums are all for speculation and fun - do you get a paycheck for posting here? Does Brian May phone you up and say "Hey, great post today - that really helped Queen Productions." Freddie's an enigma, a great subject for conversation and study. I feel very at home putting words in Freddie's mouth, and considering what other men liked to put in his mouth, I don't think I'm being that rude.

Thank you, God bless you, sweet dreams you lot of tarts, Good-bye!

chill, its just opinion on what we think COULDVE happened. its just fun stuff to think about.

Could have happened?
I'm talking about when people say "Freddie wouldn't like that" and so on and so forth. That isn't a 'could have' situation to which some people get a little weird about; I'm talking about these "I sooooo know Freddie like that" kind of people. Hoowah.
Cheers

No, I don't get a paycheck.
But I'm sure no one else does for posting here either. And half of the people probably don't get paychecks in um, oh yeah...reality as well. But hey, that's just my "speculation on the matter." I don't REALLY know these people on here, now do I? Hmmm?
Cheers

But some people really believe that they can talk to dead people.

Then the dead people go away when that person starts taking their pills again.
