Actually, the sound file is on an album called "Live Killers". Albums are round items you can buy in real shops for real money. They are available as LPs or CDs :)

With "duet" Freddie wanted to say that he and the audience should sing the song together.

I do not want any google ads here.

I always took it to mean that the duet meant just Brian and Freddie onstage; not necessarily a vocal duet, but just that two of them are onstage together, performing. Of course, the vocal duet idea works too...

Also, al..bums? Never heard of 'em.

Yeah, I thought he meant him and Brian before I heard the track, but then I realised what he meant.

HIJACK: Do you prefer Freddie or Brian singing LOML?

This can't end well.

Freddie and Brian performed Love of My Life many times live. The dialog you mention is the one on the Live Killers album and I think it was recorded in Frankfurt (1979, of course). Freddie says: "This next song is turning into a duet, and that's the way we like it, I think.. We'd like everybody to join in this son called Love of My Life...".

I don't know about the keyboards part. They didn't play synths in that song in any tour with Freddie. In the recent tour, Spike played some string-like synths in the background. Sometimes it seemed like it was a guide for Brian, who seemed to forget the chords to the song or maybe it was my imagination, hehe :). Brian always looks a little insecure while playing even the greatest solo.
