Please don't kill me if I'm wrong.

Now I'm Here -> Queen II USA tour
Long Away -> Stars (you know, Brian, astronomy...)

That time will come, one day you'll see that i'll be dead and you will laugh!

"Now I'm Here" is about Brian's experiences during the American where Queen performed as an opening act for Mott the Hoople ("just Hoople and me"). I know this because Brian told so in an interview.

"Long Away", I'm not sure. What do you think?

-------

You might believe in heaven
I would not care to say
For every star in heaven
There's a sad soul here today
Wake up in the morning with a good face
Stare at the moon all day
Lonely as a whisper on a star chase
Does anyone care anyway?
For all the prayers in heaven
So much of life's this way

Did we leave our way behind us?
Such a long long way behind us
Who knows when now who knows where
Where the light of day will find us?
Look for the day

Take heart my friend we love you
Though it seems like you're alone
A million light's above you
Smile down upon your home
Hurry put your troubles in a suitcase
Come let the new child play
Lonely as a whisper on a star chase
I'm leaving here,I'm long away
For all the stars in heaven
I would not live I could not live this way

Did we leave our way behind us?
Such a long long way behind us
Leave it for some hopeless lane
Such a long long way such a long long way
Such a long long way I'm looking for
Still looking for that day

-------

I'd say it's about escaping the boredom and pain of every day life. The writer sees life on earth as painful, hopeless and lonely. The writer wants to escape from this life and is looking for light. The stars, the moon and heaven represent hope for a better future, but of course the journey to these stars is long.

I'd say this is a typical Brian song, which both shows his depressed looked on humanity, the drudgery of every day life, his interest in astronomy, and also his view that the universe is grand and exciting. Just take a look at his soapbox entry today, it fits perfectly with this song!

All Queen songs are about AIDS. Yep, all of them. If you ask individually about each one on this board, someone will eventually say about each one that it is about AIDS.

This can't end well.
