Non-Queen fans as well as avid Queen fans ask strange questions. Though the avid Queen fans usually ask in a whisper. ;-)

I tell everyone BoRap is about an underprivileged kid caught in the 'justice' system. Who knows for sure, but it makes sense and everyone thinks I'm a genius for figuring it out. I simply say, "Oh, no. Freddie was the genius for putting it out there for all to see. Just open your eyes."

hehehe.

I once got a "Did Roger quit Queen for Duran Duran?"

I said yes, his brother took his place in Queen.

LOL!!! I've gotten a lot of that! Especially the 'they were all gay, right?' That always pisses me off.

There are also people on my school who aked if I'm gay, because I love Queen (this may also have to a bit with that I'm a bit 'queenish'...). It's quite annoying sometimes, but ah well, what the hell...

I'm sick and tired of people asking me "Aren't Queen all dead?" or "you know the lead singer was gay, right?" So what! Who cares, it's not like he was a murderer or something.

I get:
"Gay, right?"
"Dead, right?"
"Moneywhores, right?" (on the QP+R tour)
"Is that like the spinnoff of Duran Duran?"
"OHMYGOD, I LOVE QUEEN, THEY'RE MY SECOND FAVORITE RIGHT AFTER ROBBIE WILLIAMS!!!"
Yeah that's not really a question, it's just really funny...

It sure does get annoying. The other day for example, I was wearing my Queen t-shirt and my poppa looks at me and says "Queen? That's what they used to call gay men", and then he launches into some boring, narrow minded drivel about how bad gay people are, to which my eyes glazed over as I imagined myself at wembley....

Nearly every person I know of who considers themselves to be Queen fans, couldnt name one song that that isnt on the greatest hits collection!

It seems that most people think Queen released 3 Greatest Hits albums only over the course of 20 years and did nothing during the rest!

"Freddie Mercury ab kitna saal ka hai?"
translation: How old is Freddie Mercury now?

"Woh We Will Rock You waala, na?"
translation: That man who sang We Will Rock You?

"Queen kaun?"
translation: Who is Queen?

Here in India, praising Queen is kind of tough, because even if most people are aware of Queen, they pretend not to as they want t be classified as 'cool' (Those who listen only to Eminem, 50 cent, Metallica)

Is the same in US or UK?

Next you'll be telling me Let Me Entertain You and Spread Your Wings are Robbie Williams songs.

Well, they are, but they have the same titles as Queen songs.
And Save Me is an Undertones song, not the same as Queen's Save Me.

This can't end well.
