What do we think of this fantastic song?
It is my favourite Queen song and the best song John ever wrote in my opinion
Any different ideas?

I totally agree, this is an absolute Queen classic. To this day I will never understand why it wasn't a massive hit single, it should've been at least a top 5 hit.

Freddie sang it wonderfully and the jam session at the end never get old.

Might be a good fit for Paul Rodgers too. I'd LOVE to see Queen+PR add it to their set list.

I love this song so much. I always listen to it haha.

Am I a bad person because I like the BBC version better though?

Yes Great song should of been no.1.
Brian's Guitar sound at the end solo sounds terrific and harmonicy, I think he may have been using the Foxx Phaser for it? and perhaps rolled back on the Guitar volume knob.
What is the BBC version?
was Spread Your Wings ever on TOTPs?

One of my all time favorites. Definitely John's best. So melodic and enjoyable. This song alone is why I want to see a 79 concert released on DVD.

Sorry to disagree, but I don't love this song. I like it a lot, I never skip it, but Deaky did a lot better, IMO. He did worse as well, of course.

This can't end well.
