It's fairly easy to hear Brian and Roger's backing vocals when Freddie sings... and it's clear when Freddie is singing backup to his own songs.

But I can't seem to hear Freddie backing in 39, Sleeping on the Sidewalk or Good Company. Is it all Brian in those songs? Is Freddie singing in them at all?

To be honest with you...when there all singing together, I can't tell them apart: Ex, Flash...ahhhhh!!, but one song that I can hear Freddie singing backup on is Roger's I'm in love with my car...but other than that, Freddie voice was so powerful, I really couldnt hear Rogers, or Brians, but they still sounded good; I really have to listen to hear their voice!

I'd be willing to say that Freddie isn't in Sleeping on the Sidewalk, just for arguments sake. Doesn't sound like him in the backup voices, sounds like Brian.

Freddie isn't on Good Company as well, if I remember well. Just Brian multi-tracking himself.

Is Freddie on '39? I know Roger is but I can't hear Freddie in it at all.

You say he's very clear on 39? I couldn't hear him at all. I'll have to listen closer.

Me too.. I think I may be able to hear him slightly in the choruses but not exactly clearly.

People who say they can't distinguish between Brian, Roger, and Freddie in backing vocals are musically deaf.

Not everyone has trained ears to know the difference, just like not everyone can act, or draw. It's a talent.

To a trained ear, Freddie, Brian, and Roger's voices are very different, and can be heard.

Wow. I hope you didn't mean this to be as obnoxious as it reads.

Fred sings the harmonies of '39 during intro and bridges except for the top and bottom parts, both of which were Roger (you can easily confirm that using the DTS tracks). During the choruses he sings as well.

John hated HS. Fred's fave singer was not PR. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' Witness testimonies are often inaccurate. Scotland's not in England. 'Bo Rhap' hasn't got 180 voices.

Indeed. I can hear him very clear in 5.1 surround. Even in stereo I can hear him.

Brian also sings in the intro and bridge, but just one part. And I believe Freddie is only in the very last chorus

I always used to think I could hear John in '39... heh. I sort of ditched the idea once I heard him actually singing and he basically sounded like he was talking notes.

I think the same, yet I can't prove it

I think Freddie is in '39 a little bit, and also clearly in backing vocals on IILWMC.

This can't end well.
