Yes, I have. I have had alopecia areata since I was 28 years old. At times my hair has been so thin and sparse that I had to wear wigs. I'm very thankful that its been in remission for a year now, and my hair is quite full, and I've had a nice break from steroid injections into my head (sometimes over 50 at a time!)
