I was wondering if any of the members of Queen has ever acted in any movies, television shows, commericals etc. I already saw the commerical on youtube.com, of Brian and Roger for GV2, but thats about it. Has there been any other acting they've done before, any of the members?

Haha!! I thought they were partially in a movie called Sexy Shorts, but maybe that's just footage. I read it on IMDB, but it didn't give me much more info

Brian (or should I say 'Mr Tandy'?) has appeared in several comedy tv-shows over the years. Comic Relief, Smith and Jones...

Wasn't Freddie lined up to do The Phatom Of The Opera Movie at one point.

Never came off though.

I think that is the closet any member of Queen got to acting in a film if you discount the vids.

John has acted in many porn movies under the stage name of Gerald Hammer.

John appeared in the 'Wizard of Oz', while Brian featured in 'That's No Way to Eat a Sandwich' with Rutger Hauer.

Did Brian not replace Kelsey Grammer in an episode of Cheers when he was ill? It'll be because of similar amounts of hair.

This can't end well.

I just want to say that movie database sites are often wrong with Brian, because there's an australian music composer who made quite a few movie scores including Mad Max and Blind Side (a Rutger Hauer movie) and his also named Brian May. ( though I think he spells Bryan with y instead of i, but this is a common mistake again) So be careful when you're searching for our Brian in such places.
Oh and that poor Brian (or maybe Bryan) May from Oz died in 1997.

even imdb has some mistakes, for instance: the Roger Taylor on Duran Duran's Greatest Hits videos is definetely not our Rog! And they didn't mention The Biggles movie soundtrack at John's page.
But otherwise these pages are quite useful, they've collected many tv appeareances bay the band. And you can tell which episode in which season, great! Tanks!

Not TV or movie related, but Freddie once performed with the Royal Ballet. That's a bit like acting, only frillier.
