Changes to the setlist were:
(only the queen songs)
Under pressure
Another one bites the dust
I was born to love you
Teo toriatte
Dragon attack
Long away

Do you think queen is adding more songs 'till the end of this tour?

I guess: (2 of these songs)
Headlong or Innuendo
Tenement funster (first roger changing)
Let me live (fits perfect)
Breakthru? (maybe a accoustic slow version)
Princes of the universe

Please let me know

On April,1st in San Diego they´ll play "Somebody to Love" (Domestic version)...

I've given up on major setlist changes.
This tour has been great so far, but the setlist was a bit of a disappointment to me.
Not very adventurous to say the least.
It's not that I only want to hear obscure songs, but some surprises would have been nice.
Any changes are welcome but I wouldn't hold my breath.
Nevertheless, I'm thrilled that they still want to tour, they still rock like hell, and I hope this tour is not their last.

Are Brian and Roger ASHAMED of their first three albums? Why won't they play any songs from them? Anyone else a bit pissed off with that?

This can't end well.

I don't think that "Hijack my heart" would be considered for this or any tour. I don't think it would have been considered for inclusion even if there had been a "Miracle" or "Innuendo" Tour. That song is too obscure for this, being only a B side.

I think we're through with all the speculation about what the band can play in their shows. It's sad. Even the big surprise for the Japan leg of the tour, I was born to love you, was preceded by a successful single release so it was not a far fetched idea.

I think we can only hope for some other (one) Queen song being included in the set in this tour (Now I'm Here comes to my mind, Spread your wings or a rockier Sleeping on the sidewalk) and maybe short snippets of other tracks during Brian's acoustic set, if he's in the mood. Maybe they'll bring back I want it all for some shows and I really hope they keep playing Under Pressure (at least, until I see them in San Diego, hehe).

Over a year ago I fantasised about the idea of having a portion of 'Drowse' included in the show, in the style of what they did with 'Born to love you' in Japan. I think we can forget about it, as they would stick to the commercial hits and the odd live favorite for this tour.

I think it's a waste to have the grand piano only for BadCo. I think they could do You're My Best Friend, with some pretty good harmonies by the 6 of them. But I don't think they will do it. :(

Regarding Paul's material, I would like to see Rock and Roll Fantasy back for some shows and maybe Shooting Star.

I really hope they shout my mouth and bring on some big surprise for the next shows. But I'm 100% certain that it won't be 'Hijack my heart' or 'Lost Opportunity' or 'Stealin'... :S

See ya,

Wiley

Paul has said that its late, now im here and mother love were among his choices to add.I would also like to see all of the Free?bad company stuff removed.Paul tries so much harder during these tunes that its insulting and i have come to realize he is using this to springboard his own tour this summer.

Sorry - I don't agree with that at all buddy. Paul Rodgers has always been the ultimate professional in the field of rock. He is known by others as a respectable individual and I've never heard anyone speak about him negatively throughout his long career.

I (and thousands of others) feel that he genuinely enjoys playing the Queen material. It gives him an opportunity to use his brilliant voice and range. Also, it's been well documented that Brian and Roger wanted to include 50% of the show as BC/Free material but he declined as Queen hadn't toured for 24 years - kudos to Paul Rodgers as he has done a fabulous job against both the odds and stubborn fans. He's never sounded better in my opinion.

I'm a Queen fanatic yet I know that even Brian and Roger are both honored and comfortable having this legend in their rock'n'roll family.

Out of curiosity, who would you have prefered in the front man position?

They could have chosen Robbie Williams :-(

Can't agree that Paul tries harder on his own songs, if anything I'd say he tries harder, sometimes too hard on the Queen songs.

He sounds better on his own songs because he's more comfortable with them and he never has to check the monitor for the lyrics.

I was first row at the end of the catwalk in Toronto and was surprised by how often Paul was checking the monitor for the lyrics. I don't think its cause he doesnt know them, but he's just double checking so he doesnt screw up too much.

His own stuff hes been singing for twenty or thirty years and it comes easy to him. Those songs were written for his voice, the Queen songs weren't and he has to work a little harder.

Having said that, he totally nailed The Show Must Go On in Toronto. I was extremely impressed.

I got it, why not do a medley? Like they used to do...they'd throw in several songs we've been clamoring for and everybody would be giddy as hell.

Mother Love is Freddie's goodbye - I don't wanna hear this sung by anybody else than Freddie or Brian.

I'm still waiting for Now I'm Here or It's Late - these are the two songs that would fit into the setlist and that I'd love to hear.

Songs that are absolutely *insane* to leave off the list (but you probably will never hear them live):

Headlong
It's Late
White Man
Innuendo
Now I'm Here

I'm sure there's more, I just can't be borked remembering 'em at the moment.
But seriously. More songs.
