Just wondering if any of you knew how many times was barcelona performed live with freddie and was it ever really performed live without miming.

...Theres the actual music video, which doesnt really count

...Live in Ibiza 1987,

...and the performances on the video collection where he performs 3 songs (barcelona, how can I go on and golden boy) in 1988.

Anymore?

they're particularly complicated pieces if you consider the musicians needed to bring forth the same effect.

Oooooh. I did know that Ibizia was mimed.

Was the Ku Club performance mimed, too?

ETA: Oh, wait - you said they were all mimed. Okay.

The 1988 performance was for the 1992 Olympics. I believe there was also royalty of some degree in the audience. You can read more about all the performances in the book by Peter Freestone.
