Hard to believe that in the past year I have seen Queen + PR seven times. I never thought I would ever get to see Brian and Roger play together and knew that the chances were even slimmer after moving to the US.

Yes I am sad it's over, but I am so happy that I finally got to see them play together. Every concert was great, but for me the memory of Detroit will remain with me forever. I have never experienced a crowd like that before. Simply amazing.

In Chicago before the show started I overheard some people talking beside me. One guy asked his friend if there was an opening act. His friend replied "Dude..... they don't need an opening act". Chicago was the first show on the tour that I had seen where Brian really looke amazed by the reaction. Then came Detroit.....

It was great to meet so many peope during the tour. Just a shame that there was not more time to hang out with people.

People who jump all over Paul for every little mistake he has made really need to get a reality check. Freddie never got it perfect everytime. Some point to the negative reviews (Suntimes for example) to prove their point that Q+PR suck. What they fail to mention is that Queen consistently received bad reviews throughout their entire career, so a bad review proves nothing.

Queen + Paul Rodgers really rock.

You guys did well catching as many shows as you did, I wish I could have made it over to the states to see them again.

Thanks for the reviews, it's been interesting reading them.

I think they will be back... Album by Christmas maybe Spring, then one more tour, that's my bet anyway.

I know what you mean. It's great that they are touring but there's also this bittersweet feeling of knowing that they won't be doing this for too long. I also took my chances and traveled from Mexico to Europe to see them last year, when they hadn't announced a North American tour. I had the time of my life, met some very nice people, and got to see my favorite band playing live. I also met them briefly and got their autographs in Prague. I saw them 4 times over there (Vienna, Munich, Prague and Leipzig) and I'll be seeing them in a few days in San Diego (fingers crossed for a great gig) with a cousin of mine and two friends.

I still hope they manage to come to Mexico this summer/fall. I recently saw U2 and the Stones playing stadiums here in Monterrey and had a great time. I really hope Q+PR can pull off something like this, although there a bit of that "Queen minus Freddie is not Queen" thing over here. I think they could still sell out a couple of medium sized stadiums in my country.

You know, there's this funny story. My cousin is getting his visa this friday just in time for the gig on saturday. We had to send some emails to make sure that he got his visa in time, we told them that it was my cousin's dream to see Queen live, etc. On the last email they told us he would get it on time and at the end of the text there was this P.S.: "My supervisor says that Queen without Freddie is not the same", hehe :). It was very funny for me to read this, comming from someone at the visa office.

Rock on Queen and Paul Rodgers!
I'll see you once again very soon and I'll enjoy it like it's the last time, although I hope to see them at home. :)

The tour is over for me too, but I saw them three times, paid through the nose and enjoyed every second of it. I never thought anything like it would ever happen and while it may never happen again, it was a dream come true for me and I am very grateful to the guys for having the balls to do it, and in such a big way.

I could only go to 2 shows. I guess I'm twice lucky but I have a bad case of post-concert blues.
I was so envious of European fans last year and now I got to see them in Toronto and Detroit.
I hope this will encourage them to do something in the future.

I'm still going through severe withdrawal from the Philly show. Wish there was a way to see them again.

We keep the empty Moet bottle, and foil which held our brownies after the Cleveland show, in the kitchen next to the paper doll of Freddie Mercury. Mary found heart-shaped red glitter and scattered it at Freddie's feet!
