Guys... here is the lowdown... I am married, two kids, fighting my way through grad school, etc... well, I busted my butt for a year, saved up and bought my dream guitar, a burns brian may red special. The serial number was 1441. Anyway... I had it for about 2 months, till some idiot broke into my home and stole it (amongest another guitar and other things) My heart was...and still is broken. I miss it. I worked so hard to receive something that meant a lot to me and some freaken moron stole my happiness. Me being poor, etc... i cant afford to get another one. I am writing this hoping that all of my brothers and sisters in Queenzone will keep an eye out for the guitar. If it turns up, PLEASE let me know. I'd even try throwing in a reward. Thanks

If you are located in the US, please call my office at 415-957-9131. As the Brian May Guitar dealer in San Francisco, I would be happy to help you out however I can. Call me and let's talk.

Sorry for your loss. I still have an early serial number and enjoy playing it.

Can't you claim for it on insurance? then buy a new one.

Actually, I did claim it on insurance and got some money back. However, at the time I was getting swamped with school bills...and the debt was climbing fast. If I didn't have a family, I would have just gone ahead and gotten another one and wouldn't have thought much about it. However, since I do have one... my first responsibility is to them...and I felt the wised thing for me to have done was to spend the money on my ever-growing school debt.
Tis life... Thanks guys
john

Perhaps the Guitar gods were telling you something. You should really try to find a Guild instead. It's worth the $$$. And the low serial # on your burns doesn't make it any more valuable.

If you paid more than $300 for your burns, then THEY stole from you first.

But, sorry for your loss. Thieves are rat-bastards.

I know what your saying... but this was my first Brian May, and I did like it. Before I got married, I had bought a few nice guitars. Mostly Fender stuff... The Burns brian may wasnt released until after I was married. Well, as some of your married folks might agree, when you get married you cant afford a lot of the things you would normally get. Well, I was married, went to school (in grad school now) have 2 kids, etc... so being able to afford anything personal like that is a tough stretch...especially with the way the economy is here in america. Anyway... i busted some extra hours at the job here and there, saved my pennies when I could...and got the guitar. Even though I doubt it, I just thought maybe i'd get lucky and it would turn up somewhere. Ah well. Thanks guys.
