I think mistakes are cool - makes them more human.

Brian looked like his mind kinda 'drifted off' during I'm In Love With My Car, lol.

oh yeah, i saw that! he wasnt as focused as he always is. the live at the bowl wasnt that bad bc the guitar just stopped playing so there were no mistakes, really

It wasn't that bad... I still hate watching stars mess up, though! :-P I should really stop spamming the Queen board with Billy Joel, but what the hell, I'll show this anyway... I cringed when I saw Billy walkin' the wrong way during this interview in the very beginning... I could really see this happening to me. I was there at that concert as well with my parents. I distinctly remember IILWMC. If you look closely, Roger almost puts a smile on his face when Brian sort of drifts off :-)
When you think about it, it's almost special that we Philadelphians saw something unique like that.

This is why we don't let him drive. Oh wait, we do let him drive...Well, you can imagine what kind of trouble this causes.

Anyway, it's surprising that Brian doesn't break more strings than he does - doesn't he use really light gauge strings (8's, I think), that coupled with a metal pick is just a recipe for string breakage.
