i bought Queen Greatest Video Hits vol 1, and on The Making of the Rhapsody, there wasnt any footage of John talking. John was on the audio commentary, but it sounded funny. Like it was pre-recorded.
And not to mention, i was watching PBS, and it was about the Queen + Paul Rogers dvd Return of the Champions. I only saw the ending, but I never saw John.

Where's Johnny?

Deaky is in my basement, and I'm not letting him out. Sorry.

He has retired. So you probably won't be seeing any new interviews or footage of him.

Deacy is happily enjoying his remaining years....as it should be.

He's retired from the Band and although he does'nt perform in the public eye he is still active behind the scenes.

Bless em'....:)

Woohoo! This means I'll be the first to mention the strippers!

A couple of years ago he left his house for the first time since 1997 and went to a strip bar.

Enough with the basements, people. You're obviously joking, and it's just not funny anymore.

I've hid him in a locked storage facility on the outskirts of Philadelphia. Good luck trying to find him; I've given up. Can't remember the number anymore. I just hope the rats provide him with enough sustenance.

Ha ha ha....that would be nice...but i don't think i could keep him entertained enough to keep him in one location for long.

Then again.....

And why oh why does someone always have to bring up the "stripper" pictures in topics such as this?? It makes me angry!!

Does anyone stop to consider that these may have been "posed"??

Argh....it is sad that when his name is mentioned, all anyone seems to recall is these bloody awful "stripper" photos instead of what they SHOULD be remembering him by.....his brilliant contribution to music!

I doubt he's active behind the scenes. I think he's just staying out of it and letting BM&RT do what they want (and pocketing the royalty cheques - and I can't blame him for that!)

And the rest of the world might take a part on that too or is it only USA/UK?
One thing, I admire John, a lot, but ot's not strange that people get shocked when they found out about those stripper pics, I mean, after all they're used to think of John as a family man and the mere fact of seeing those photos, even if they were posed, has a wondering effect on people and they just ask.
It happened to me the first time I saw them.

John, we love you, and hope you're fine and well:)
