What do I need to download these? I don't know where to start.

I'm sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but I really could not think of anywhere else to put it.

Thanks in advance.

Search for FLAC Frotend for Flac audio files, and bittornado, for torrent files, its pretty easy from there

My suggestion for Torrents would be BitSpirit. It's quite good and easy to use. As for Rapidshare or similar file sharing websites - it should be pretty easy to figure out. If you're having difficulties, give us a shout :)

Right, I've downloaded the BitSpirit (quite fast it was too).

What do I do now? How do I use it?

Is the torrent part of the program, or do I have to download that seperately?

PS Sorry if I'm annoying anyone. I've hardly downloaded anything in my life.

For instance: open this link http://www.queenzone.com/queenzone/forumnew/forum_topic_view.aspx?Q=602332 - you see there in "Attachment" SNL_QUEEN.zip.torrent 23 KB - download this torrent file and open.

The torrent file is the file holding information about the files that you're going to download and the server you're downloading from. When you open it BitSpirit starts searching for peers - other users who have the same file. Simple, innit? ;)

Yes. THanks guys. I'm 95% there. My final question is: How long does the average download take? I'm trying to download something now, but it doesn't seem to be doing anything.

Well it very much depends on the size of the download and the speed you're downloading with. If there are enough peers your download speed will be high and you'll finish your download in no time.

There's something very important though: Don't exit your torrent program after you've finished downloading! You see, peers are divided in two groups: seeders and leechers. Leechers are those who have some part of the file and they need to download more to complete the downloads. After they reach 100% they automatically become seeders, so that other peers can download from them. The whole idea of the torrent thing is that we all need to help each other out. That's why everyone needs to keep seeding after they finish downloading, so that they can help everyone else who wants to download. So be a nice guy and do your bit to help share the music :)

I'm in the process of downloading my first concert now, but when I click on it and get it to the torrent, nothing happens. This other program starts downloading in its place. It's called Microsoft Windows Service Pack. Is this normal? Please help.
