QUEEN NUMBER 1 SINGLES - HELP PLEASE

Dear Queen Experts & Friends

Can you all help me please with one question - which i need for the QUEEN SINGLES collection thing we're working on.

Could you tell me which QUEEN song or songs went to NUMBER 1 in your particular country. JUST No 1 please.

For example, LOVE OF MY LIFE was number 1 in Brazil, we think, but we need to be sure.

If you can be CERTAIN of which song/s were No 1 somewhere in the world, please tell me URGENTLY.

I have no idea at all which Queen tracks were ever No 1 in Portugal, for example, or Spain or Turkey or Canada.

was WWRY a No 1 in France??? i think so, but not sure.

Was Radio Ga Ga or Somebody To Love ever No 1 ANYWHERE????

Please help.

Many thanks
Greg Brooks (Queen Archivist)
E-mail HERE

COULD YOU ALSO PASS THIS EMAIL ON TO OTHER FANS/CONTACTS/EXPERTS YOU KNOW AROUND THE WORLD, PLEASE.
PLEASE DO NOT SEND DETAILS YOU ARE NOT CERTAIN OF.

=============================================
note: Greg is asking to write your answers at brianmay.com@clara.co.uk

personal note: in my humble opinion it comes across as a partial joke... to ask us the fans to send him the information and the question "Was Radio Ga Ga a nr 1 hit ANYWHERE" made me laugh even more

But since we support our dear mr Brooks, I hereby would like to ask you all to send him a nice e-mail to express our feelings towards his bright mind!

Stefan

PS I gues this information is needed for prepairing the new Queen CD
"Queen Number One hits" ... haha

Ok I’ll be glad to help. Flick Of The Wrist, March Of The Black Queen, Millionaire Waltz and Action This Day reached no 1 in USSR. Take care. ;)
Let's entangle this bastard Greg to death! Seriously.

My fairy king made it to #1 in my personal list of best songs on Queen 1. Hope it counts.

Hey Guys--that would be bombarding Jen at brianmay.com with emails, and wouldn't have the desired effect. Jen's a nice lady and a friend to all Queen fans. Please don't bombard her with email. Thanks!

My GOD, you think a Queen ARCHIVEST would have kept record of this type of thing. And great, yet ANOTHER compilation! They better slide some new shit in there.

Amen!! What kind of Queen Archivist doesn't know what singles went to #1 when and where??? All that amazing stuff he's got access to and he isn't "sure" of which single went #1 and where?

Wow. He's got the audacity to come on QZ, the best Queen site for accurate information on concerts, interviews, etc. and be a complete dickhead but then wants help? Unbelieveable.

Bo Rhap was number 1 in the UK (twice).
As far as I know, the only others were Under Pressure and Innuendo.

This can't end well.
