It was hard to find the NTSC version (they no longer sell it on Queen Online or anywhere else. Only the pal version.) but I paid dearly for mine and I am just in love with all the material covered from Larry Lurex early days to his personal interviews and singles. And the book! Those lovely photographs are worth every penny I spent. I really haven't been able to throroughly cover it all yet. What does everyone else think?

I also have it. Bought it last year on Ebay from a guy here in The Netherlands. I fell in love with this boxset right away and those beautiful pictures are just stunning and my favourite pic of freddie in the book is the one where he wears a blue suit.
This is is the ultimate Freddie as we knew him and as we loved him and still do.
This is my most prescious FM item and it was worth every euro and not expensive since i paid 100 euro.

I also received it on the day of release having pre-ordered it.

I consider it one of the best items in my collection and by far the best Queen related box set released to date.

The main reasons for me being :
The best Freddie Documentary Ever made (so far)
All his solo videos
The instrumentals and rarity disc's.
The book format, sits very nicely on my shelf, next to Mick Rocks Killer Queen book, unlike box of tricks and the complete works

I already had the original solo albums, so don't listen to the box set ones much but the rest are great.

Would love a similar solo set for both Brian and Roger.

Let's hope the Queen singles box set due for release later in the year is of a similar standard. And the other boxsets if they arrive before I die of old age.

I won mine from an ebay auction. I never saw it in NTSC, only PAL, so when I saw this one, I kept bidding. It cost me a fortune, but it's worth every penny.

It was still factory sealed!! I owned it for almost three months before I broke down and opened it. It seemed almost too precious to touch. And it is precious, but it's not meant to sit forever in the box.

I couldn't say what part of it is my favorite. I, too, have the original solo albums so I don't touch those, but the rest... incredible. And like I said, worth every penny.

I have it. I dealt with a great person on ebay.
I didnt win the auction, but the emailed me saying they have another, so they sold it to me for teh same price. the persone was the best i have ever delt with.

I was so happy to get this. I had only ever seen it in a store once and it was 300+ dollars, and i didnt have the coin at the time.

I made copies of all the discs so i dont have to play the originals and risk wrecking them. I bought a small triangel easle for it to sit on. so it is in full display on my "queen Shelf" in my bed room.

I love sitting with the book on my lap, listening to the tracks and reading along to each one, all the info on where it came from and all that.

forgot to mention

the larry lurrex track - i can hear music just makes me happy and smily every time i hear it. and i love the instrumentals

i already had the 3 solo discs and the video release, but i dont care, there is so much gold in that box.

and yeah a box in the samme idea for brian and roger would rock so much, make them the same size, same type of format, solid colour, with a pic on the front . tremendous to sit on a shelf together

I have the 3 CD set, I'm debating if I should invest in the bigger one. It's very expensive.
