Focusing on 4 songs witch is more or less about fighting against the pressure of giving up in life.

1. Don’t try suicide
2. If u cant beat them join them ( with Deacon)
4. Keep passing the open windows
4. Hung on in there

And of course there are lines in almost any song. But those four are dedicated to, what I am talking about.
All written from Freddie and all talking about strength and the will for surviving. They are songs with a lot of strength, but i think they tell the story of a man who faced a lot of reasons for giving up, but he always putted on record the answer to it, witch is still trying, no matter what.
And then you have the STAGE PERSONA. During the 80s especially it was a lot more than just a macho persona. The gestures the moves the facial expressions prove a man who always faced an inner fight, but found an artistic way to put hope and power where probably is a gap.
I am sure, the AIDS-fight was just one of his tests. The man, more than anything, was a lifelong fighter.

That's what it is all about I write poems, and my inner turmoil comes out inthem, or my happiness, or sometimes they are just plain depressing, writing music is the same, and also singing it. you express your feelings it all comes pouring out. and in Freddies case he sang with all his emotions dept and soul. you could see it, and feel it, and hear it. thats what made him the voice.

Writing is definatly one way to wear your heart on your sleeve without everyone knowing intimate details. And Freddie put his heart and soul into everything he did. He was more than just a stage persona, he was an AMAZINGLY PROLIFIC musician and writer. Thanks for the lovely beautiful and mysterious works Freddie. We still love you...

I'll find the link for you, its a thread i created here, but i fear no ones that interested, but i would love to have it resurrected....
