Erin should take note that this is the cable car that we rode in Scotland with my parents :-)
Cable car derails on Nevis mountain range
A cable car containing five people derailed at a ski centre on the Nevis Range in Scotland on Thursday after it collided with another gondola, injuring at least four people, officials said on Thursday.
Police said a child was among the injured, who were being airlifted to hospital after the accident which happened at around 3:30 p.m.
A spokesman for the RAF Kinloss mountain rescue team told Sky News the injured appeared to have suffered head, chest and leg injuries.
Three helicopters and three ambulances ferried mountain rescue teams and medical staff to the site.
A spokesman for the Scottish Ambulance Service said the gondolas, which run from a car park up to skiing slopes, may have fallen down in the accident.
Around 50 people were stranded at the top station of the cable link and a further 25 remained in gondolas. All were due to be brought down once the airlift of the injured was complete.
