Thanks for this list, but on the site there seems to be innacurate information.

I´m from Portugal, but i know that in the seventies and eighties a platinium album was 1.000.000 copies. That´s the reason why a "NATO" is 1 time platinium and "MIH" is 5 times platinium.

For some reason the official sources didn´t updated the statistics to the 300.000=1platinium, wich is the formula used in these days.

So, a common mistake that some fans tend to do is just check the platinium status and aplly the 300.000 rule. But this is wrong in some cases (70´s) where you have to apply the 1.000.000 rule. So, in UK, they have sold far more than what´s on that list!

Take care

Thanks Bobby_brown, great point, it's a well known fact that the BPI certifications for Queen's Album sales are well out of date, for instance GH1 is certified 11 x Platinum (3,300,000) but it is now thought it's UK sales exceed 5,100,000. Does anyone know of an accurate list of each albums sales in the UK. Cheers Lee

Actually I don't know what to think...I thought that "Made In Heaven" had sold twelve million copies. I know I seen the claim that "Greatest Hits I" worldwide has sales of twenty FIVE million and not twenty THREE. I could be wrong but I know I have at least seen in print somewhere that that greatest hits sold that much...which doesn't mean that it is true of course.
