There's always suicide. But alternatively, you *could* just find help with this. It's there, you know, for you and the likes of you.

If you are -1, then a five minute attention span is acceptable. Carry on.

He is 13 in September

A five minute attention span for a 12, almost 13 year old should be a concern for his teachers and his parents to discuss and mention to his general practitioner. Strategies can be given to help him stay on task or medication could be an option. His academic and social success will suffer if this isn't addressed.

What is this about again?

The Golden Gate Bridge should have a long bungee cord for people who aren’t quite ready to commit suicide but want to get in a little practice.

the average adult has a 7 minute attention span.
5 minutes for a child (escpecially boys) is normal. yay psych class!

according to all doctirs everyone has ADD. people who really havent are overlooked. thank you.

Source? Research indicates that an average attention span correlates with the age of the child. If he is 12, almost 13, his attention span should be about 12 or 13 minutes at least.

Yeah, try telling that to my 78 year old grandmother who can barely stay interested when I tell her a short five minute story.

...or maybe I'm just a shitty storyteller.
