Queen to tour with KISS next year according to Gene Simmons
In an interview on the Dudley & Bob morning show, on Austins Classic Rock station KLBJ, Gene Simmons stated that KISS will take out Queen + Paul Rodgers on the bands 2007 tour. Gene said that both bands had talked during VH1s Rock Honors show and in true Gene style in the interview he claims: Queen is playing with us, were not playing with Queen.

"NO KISS TOUR 2007 WITH QUEEN ?
Paul Stanley denies now on Kissonline, that there are plans to Tour with Queen next year. But Paul will be playing 15-20 Solo-shows starting late October."

Think about it.

Paul Stanley on lead vocals
Gene Simmons on Bass
Brian May on Guitar
Roger Taylor on drums

Now lets come up with some Kiss makeup designs for Brian and Rogers...

Hopefully Paul Stanley wouldn't be as amazingly drunk as he was at Rock Honors. Nah, I wouldn't mess with the Q+PR line-up if I had a say in the matter

Paul Stanley wasn't drunk at the VH1 Rock Honors show. He's not much of a drinker and has never played a KISS show drunk.

Get your facts straight before posting such an asinine statement.

There are no plans with Kiss. Brian says that on his website.

I remeber Brian saying no tour 2 months before he announced the QPR tour and we then found out they had planned it 3/4 months before

Queen will be recording a studio album with PR on the same month Paul Stanley will be starting a solo tour.

So, how could Queen and Kiss tour together? Sounds a bit impossible for me.

THANK FUCKING GOD THE RUMOURS ARE FALSE!!!

The last thing on Earth I want to see is some pathetic, shit-ass band who has sadly found a warmer North American reception than Queen, headline a tour that has Queen opening for them, and playing a compromised set. It would be eternally awful on a philosophical note for it to be 'Kiss' of all bands. Why? Kiss is probably the only band of the 70's to top Queen in the theatricality/vamp-up area of live music. Also, for my own opinion and taste, Kiss is the polar opposite of Queen, being that I define Kiss as a band with crappy vocals and non-melodic guitar creation, cashing in on a combination of plain-commercial-generic lyrics and riffs, along with a stage image/presence that has nothing in common with their music.

I saw half a Kiss concert back in 1990, within a month of having my first car. My dad picked me up 45 minutes early, offered to wait, and in the end had ZERO resistance from me. I was all too happy to leave such a SHITTY show by such an EXTREMELY overrated band. I was there for their opening band anyways.

Kiss can Kiss my ass!

P.S. One last note... From what I have heard, while Gene Simmons brags endlessly to the public about his large number of women he has had sex with... From what I gather, Roger's history, though less documented, blows Gene off the map. I hate Kiss so much!
