Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've heard the History Channel will be airing something about Freddie to commemorate his 60th Birthday...

Will it air in the United States?
Or is this (again correct me if I'm wrong) only for Argentina??

Oh, if so, I so hope someone records this then posts it in the announce section...

I can have mom look at the tv guide in the paper and see if it's on tomorrow. I sure hope it will be! Smile. And I also hope someone records it!

Unless Freddie stormed the beaches at Normandy, I somehow doubt that he would show up on the History Channel in the US.

I just checked my satellite guide for any documentaries of Freddie's life and what do I get? NADA, ZILCH, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!! It's times like these that make me hate living in Texas! Not even the DAMN Biography channel will be hosting any shows about Freddie! I am so upset! I would do ANYTHING to live in the U.K. right now! :( :(

It was broadcasted only for Latin America.. I watched it a little, because i was very busy, but it was good. The only problem was that the documental was spanish spoken, no subtitles, which was a shame.

Hello!

Sure they did, last night here in Mèxico we got to see "Freddie Mercury: The Untold Story" (translated into Spanish) on The History Channel. It was a 1 hr. documentary.

Next, a kind of short version of the "Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert" was also broadcasted , a mixture of some of the songs , rehearsals and comments (1 hr. as well,& the dialogues were also translated into Spanish- quite convenient since many people -mainly youngsters- can't speak English).

So we are really glad Freddie is being remembered today in many places worldwide.

Regards,

You guys are all very lucky!! Nothing is on about Freddie where I am. It's all freakin' Rap documentaries on MTV and VH1. Arrgh!! Well, I've got my Queen DVDs to get me thru the night.

I would had prefered spanish subtitles, so they could kept the original language... that means, everybody ccan read in spanish, in Latin America i mean.

Oh, well, I can not record anything yet, but look, this is what was aired on the History Channel:

Freddie Mercury :The Untold Story

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-c9Gm_qBNY part 1

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pyqUVxnphuE part 2

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=svfPu0-0-3E&mode=related&search= part 3

The difference is that it was translated into Spanish.

In the meantime I hope you can enjoy the several interesting videos in www.youtube.com .

Cheer up! Fortunately there is lots of information on the internet nowadays.

Best wishes,

Thanks!! :-) I'll be sure to check those out. I was so excited, because I'd heard about VH1 having a Queen night. I ran home from my Trumpet lesson, because it was supposed to start at 7pm. When I turned on the TV, it was a movie about Eminem. I was so depressed. Oh well, I get BBC news on the public TV station at 11pm. Maybe, they'll have something on about Freddie.

I love John Deacon and Brian May!!!
