Sorry if this is a repeat post, but at the beginning of WWRY on Tuesday night, the video screen showed the message - "Freddie Mercury would have had his 60th birthday" - who the hell let this attracious spelling mistkae slip through? Jim Beach should hang his head in shame as the 'torch bearer' of Freddie's estate - to me it shows a great lack of respect to get the spelling of someone's name wrong

Yes there are worse things in life than a typo. But when the point of the entire evening is to celebrate the life of a person, spell his fucking name right.
You know, good times are now.

I think that it is extremely stupid to spell his name wrong at an event that was meant to HONOR him! WTF!??!

Yes. You would think Jim Beach and who was responsible for the correct spelling of freddie's name. How could he spell it wrong when he's probably written it half a dozen times? Lol!

Yes. You would think Jim Beach and whoever else was responsible forthe planning of the party, to spell his Freddie's name right! How could they spell it wrong when they've probably written it half a dozen times? Lol!

I guess enough people have pointed out "attracious" that I don't need to make a joke about its irony anymore.
Creativity can always cover for a lack of knowledge.

Well, I guess they had a non-Queen fan working on the graphics. I think the people working on the WWRY production are not necessarily Queen fans. They are just working in the theatre. They might be just as happy doing a production for Eltin Jon, Abbuh, or Andrew Loid Weiber.

As a QP insider, I can tell you that the man responsible, an older chap by the name of Lionel Healington, a staffer of many years at the Dominion Theatre was brought out back of the theatre following this grievous error, where Brian personally cleaved his head in half with the skull guitar from the "It's a Hard Life" video. Roger, Jim and Brian promptly ate his still-pulsing brain and payed a cab driver a large sum to dispose of the body in the Thames. Don't tell anyone though - it's top secret.
Thank you, God bless you, sweet dreams you lot of tarts, Good-bye!
