Question:How many girls TASTE of anything?

Its not about Heroine, like one would assume, its about "eating out" a girl as you kids now say it. Oral sex to a woman. Trust me, I'm a huge Rolling Stones fan, this song is seriously one of the more literal ones(She's a Rainbow is one of those tricky hidden messages one). Cheers

But then, why "brown sugar"? It's easier to see the girl "symbolizing" heroine than "brown sugar" symbolizing a pussy.

Brown Sugar=popular slang for a "Black girl"

so think of it as. "Black girl" how come you taste so good? just like a young girl should.

So, the pussy taste as good as he thought. Its satire at its finest. symbolizes Micks love of black women(at the time) and slaverly humor

Oh dear god. Heterosexuals are so gross!

But just because something happens to be about a black girl doesn't make it racist at all. It's just narrowing it down.

Queen using the term "nigger sugar" (in March of the Black Queen) is a bit more racist if you ask me. Especially when they coulda said 'bit of sugar' instead.

So the song isn't racist itself it's poking fun at racism and slavery then?

That 'Brown Sugar' song by the Rolling Stones is a straight up trip if you ask me!!!!!!!!!! (the song actually makes me soooooooooo sick to the stomach, the same with their 'Harlem Shuffle' song) I'm black, and it just left me speechless when I heard the lyrics!!!!!!! I'm like, so basically their saying that BW are only good for one thing...DOESNT surprise me!!!!
March of the Black Queen did also, I cant believe Freddie wrote NIGGER in the lyrics...but I still have to carefully listen to this song before I make my observation.

I actually just brought Queen II, what is the meaning being 'March of the Black Queen'; because its still VERY hard for me to understand!!!!

I'm pretty sure Mick Jagger is far from being a racist. He is friends with and adores/idolizes Tina Turner for one thing. And Keith Richards worked with Aretha Franklin on a remake of Jumpin' Jack Flash... I think it's just silly to think they had any racist intentions.

If anything, they may have been going for a little shock value/publicity but I still don't see how indicating that the girl was black makes it somehow evil.. if anything it's saying how much better things were with her.. LOL

As for Queen, my only guess was that this term used to be slang for 'brown sugar' itself, also known as maple sugar (which I used to eat by the chunk as a kid). I always thought the lyric was "a little bit of sugar" until I read the lyrics and was a bit shocked to see otherwise. It's hard to make an excuse for Freddie or Queen when I don't know what the meaning of the song is to begin with either. Then again what do you expect from a monster-toothed arabic faggot like Freddie anyway?

LOL!!! I can sense the sarcasm in that comment, anywho, back to the subject at hand...

I'm not saying that either Queen or Rolling Stones were racist...I'm just saying the lyrics (Brown Sugar) lyrics, makes it seem like BW are only good for one thing, which isnt true...something about it that rubs me the wrong way, but hey, thats just my thought on it...brb

Oh no no, I'm sorry about coming off as in-sensitive. I was just trying to re-assure you that the song ment no harm. It's okay to take it like this though, just do yourself a fave and ignore the song completely :).
