Anyone know of a queen song that could be for a bride and groom's first dance or something? Just curious.

Well, I was planning to play "Spread Your Wings" for the father daughter dance at my wedding. As for the Bride and Groom? Hmmm... "One Year of Love" might be a good choice. ;-)

Um, I'd hate to burst your bubble, dudette, but "Spread Your Wings" is actually more about cheering someone up when they're down.

Well..Queen music isnt usually appropriate for first dances right ^_^;; I mean come on now...This is a once in a lifetime, timeless moment. Make it count, dont throw in silly obbessions, unless a Queen song is yours and your partners song of course..but even then...I'd love to remember the smile on my wifes face, not the whole party stomping and clapping to we will rock you :p

I'm not getting married. Just thought it would be interesting to see what song would fit. Smile. Right now, I'm listening to you and I, but that's not really a wedding song. You take my breath away would be a good after the wedding song. Smile.

it's perfect for evoking love, but it'd be pretty hard to dance to, unless the bride and groom both do ballet XD

Good point, girl.

no one said anything about "we will rock you"! you of all people should know that there's more to them than that!
"silly obsession"...it's music that we like, so if both partners like queen, why shouldn't they use it to kick off their marriage?

At ease friend, We Will Rock You was simply a joke(thus the :p). Did I not say that if both partners(wrote parents by accident oops :p) it would be sutible, All I'm saying is, it seems a bit like a silly idea to me, I would never ruin my wedding with a Queen tune(no offense to anyone). Cheers.

Well, 'The Wedding March' off Flash Gordon comes to mind immediately!!!

As for lyrically meaningful songs for a wedding dance, 'You're My Best Friend', 'You and I' and 'I Was Born To Love You' all seem relevant.

P.S. If you are a guy who has found a woman willing to walk the aisle during 'The Wedding March' by Brian May and Queen... I envy you, you lucky bastard!
