I have been on various sites and have come across some very new Queen fans, but it is Queen+ Paul Rogers. Yes we have been around the mulberry bush on this one, But Queen to me is Queen of the 70's 80's and up to Freddies death. I wish bri and roger all the best in thier new venture But I am and old Queenfan from the time I was 22, which I began in 1975 so I tend to think of "Queen" as with all four members, Queen+ Paul Rogers is just an name.I paid Four times to see"queen" in the 70's and 80's concert but I would not pay to see them now. I have seen them on the rock honors show and varioud othe events, I loved what they were about back in the beginning, I was told by someone on another site I should support brian and roger. well i wish them luck certainly but I do not have to support the new Queen+paul rogers venue, that is up to me and no one else. I support the music that was created by Queen 30 years ago, till they can come up with some of thier own new writings that include Paul Rogers, then I will wish them the best, However if they start writing musuc that is new and thier own which includes P.R. then maybe I will take notice, but right now they are Playing old tunes with a new singer that I dont support, it is more of a bunch of tribute concerts of what use to be. So come on bri, Rog and P.R. come up with new writings and recordings of your new venture lets hear the Queen+Paul Rogers sound.

Whenever I think of Queen I think about Freddie, John, Brian and Roger. Even though I was only 1 when Freddie died and Paul is now the lead singer I always think of the original 4 as Queen.

For all the new kids around rock...."QUEEN is Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor and Jhon Deacon" They begun around 1971...Freddie Mercury died in 1991....eventough millons and millons around the world still listen to Queen. For the youngest fans...you are the proof.
I know this has been already talked/discuss but i do not get bored at all.

I was born on 8th January 1991. Wasn't even one when Freddie died, and even I still think of the origional four whenever I here Queen mentioned.

times change, people change. You sound like an old fart stuck in the past, get over it. I am at least as old as you. I got Queen 1 when it was released and I was in my 20's and I still got a thrill seeing the band live a few months back.
You just don't get it.

I'm an "old" fan from the 70's, but I see Queen and Queen+PR as two different entities. I adore the original Queen and always will, but I enjoy Queen+PR, and also get a kick out of seeing Brian and Roger play.

Queen is Brian, Roger, John, and Freddie.

That can't be argued. It is fact.

Queen is no longer.

Brian, Roger, and Paul are here.

They are not Queen.

I love Brian and Roger.

I saw them with Paul but it was not Queen.

I'm glad I got a chance to see them but it was not Queen.

Once, a guy bought the Q+PR CD in order to try to impress Charles. He said "Look, I have a Queen CD !" or something like that, and thought that I would think that was cool.

Charles tried to explain that it "wasn't really Queen", but Charles pretty much failed at that one. Charles had before been trying very nicely to say "I'm not going to the prom with you", but this was really too much.

If you wish to go to the prom with Charles, it's okay if you don't like Queen, but please don't tell Charles that Q+PR is Queen. It's "Half of Queen and Paul Rodgers and some other guys". Charles is glad that they are touring, though, since it made Charles happy to hear and see them (since, hullo, Charles was two when Freddie died - and they stopped touring before that).
