Hey Queen Fans, Throughout my life I always
heard that Jazz was a concept album, this always intrigue me cause if it was true; then its definately Queens most unique album. I can see the last three numbers forming a Concepty phase(Leaving Home Ain't Easy/Don't Stop Me Now/More Of That Jazz). I mean certinately we have had well known concept albums be just as loose(Darkside Of The Moon,Sgt Pepper; no real "story" behind those two). Anyways, prehaps someone can tell me what makes this album a concept album. Cheers :)

Never heard that and I don't believe it to be true.

It's not true. Queen didn't do concept albums, Brian has always said. The closest thing to a concept album they have done is Queen II with its white side and black side.

I have always thought that Jazz is concept album. But it's concept is actually anti conceptuality. That may sounds totally rubbish but let me explain my point. Title of the album is nothing to do with jazz music genre. The actual meaning of the word "jazz" is (according to English vocabulary) similar to: Bright, Colorful, Flamboyant, Energetic in the other hand word "jazz" means Bustle, Confusion . So the album title is a perfect reflection of the very wired track list of album. Take care.

I thought it was somewhat funny. At least I could muster a weak smile while reading it.

That's handy, is there a Queen site where they hate him?
