The Mercury Rising comeback concert of 2008, where Freddie appears and reveals he faked his death, took a short break living in Brazil and now has 8 albums worth of material, including BoRhap2.

Thank you, God bless you, sweet dreams you lot of tarts, Good-bye!

Yeah anyway........

In terms of sheer size and being tight with the best sound, its there later years, wembley, ect ect, live aid is worth a look at, even though its not a queen concert as such, it still adds to the later years. How ever, i do know that thats my opinion, many fans form the 70's would say there earlier days were better, but we dont have much footage to go to back it up, not in the likes of the webley DVD and so on

Yes.. Freddie has been living in John Deacon's home. Together they are planning the "come back" of come backs.

So next year.. we'll be having 2 Queen's...

Brian May and Roger Taylor's;
Freddie Mercury and John Deacon's;

Now.. "WHO is on first base?"

It's a good topic, unlike the other garbage floating around here lately.

1.5.1975 Tokyo

Queen in top-shape. Brilliant setlist. And because I love that era. It is said to be filmed completely. If that is true, then I probably wet myself.

LOL - probably because we get this topic every two weeks? ;-)

Anyway: for me it is Sao Paolo 1981

Right before the spectacle-side took over from musicality, great setlist right before all the commercial 80's-sound crap, and the band have rarely been SO in shape! Every member is on fire, especially Freddie who obviously KNOWS he's having a great day and realy goes ALL THE WAY!

What a gig!

Roger: Can I go To Lunch Now?

Brian: No, You Can't...

Freddie: Oh Shit, All this crap again?!

Compared to the "Brian is fucking HAWWT!!" and "QUEEN RULE YAY LET"S TALK ABOUT NONSENSE!" threads this topic is a relief. :P

Hahaha. I hope you are joking. It wasn't even one of the best of that TOUR, let alone their entire history.

My vote goes to Hammersmith '79; the band played sharp, Freddie's voice was in the best condition I've ever heard it in, and the set was absolutely GREAT.

Hammy'79 is nice, but the Newcastle shows of the same tour were even more better. Especially 4.12.1979.

Setlist: Any tour except Works or Magic
Musicianship: Any tour except Works or Magic
Fred's Voice: Any tour except Works or Magic

John hated HS. Fred's fave singer was not PR. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' Witness testimonies are often inaccurate. Scotland's not in England. 'Bo Rhap' hasn't got 180 voices.

Yeah, I too go for Hammersmith '79 as their best especially from the viewpoint of Freddie's condition and the whole vibes including the fantastic rapport between the band(Freddie) and the audience ( I think in the Game tour Freddie's voice was also amazing, though) But as to the setlist, my vote goes to the ADATR tour and the NOTW tour rather than the Crazy tour.

Hammersmith '75
Houston '77
Hammersmith '79

those are some good ones, the best probably being Hammersmith '79, great performance.
