.) I like their committment to making good music. The committment specifically seems is an ideal of theirs to always be challenging themselves and evolving their sound into new directions and creative paths, but at the same time, they hold together a basic signature sound of theirs along the journey. But at the same time as this, they do not take themselves too seriously or feel the need to be political. They have the right idea about what they should be, and don't apologize for their commercial awareness, nor do they exploit it. They have the perfect combination within their artistry.
.) I like how dedicated they are in to putting on a great concert. They draw into theatrical elements unashamedley, even during times where it wasn't as hip, but throughout they have always kept to their guns, and never allowed the theatricality to infringe upon the music.
.) I like how Queen, more so than any other band in history, is a band of intellectuals and scholars, each having a strong education and each being perceived as extremely educated and intelligent. I've often speculated that Queen must have had to be patient in dealing with other famous musicians, which commonly must have come from less scholarly backgrounds(burnouts, dropouts, addicts, etc.) Queen's a lot more classy I would imagine than probably everyone else I have heard of in rock music.
.) I admire their International warmth. They love England, but do not gloat over their roots anymore than a common level of pride. At the same time, they do not suck up to the USA like so many others. They go where they are most wanted, giving places like Japan, South America, Budapest and even South Africa(amongst controversy), so long as there are people who love Queen there.
.) Lastly, I admire their disgust and zero tolerance for bad journalism. They don't just bitch, they act upon their views of modern press/paparazzi.
