Well, yesterday almost a month after Freddie's 60th birthday the radio Station Europa FM organized a "Freddie Mercury Birthday party"

http://www.europafm.ro/evenimente/europa-fm-live/petrecere-freddie-mercury-cu-bere-gratis.html

One of the major bands of Romania "Bere Gratis" ("Free Beer") did a set list of

WWRY
Don't Stop Me now
I want it All
Show Must go On
Who Wants To live Forever
I want it All
Love of my life
Crazy Little Thing Called Love
Radio Ga Ga
We are the Champions

The singer of the band, also a Queen fan, after he got "A night At the Opera" he became a big fan of Queen and Freddie. He also visited Queen+PR in Budapest and also went to Montreux

"Cand am ajuns in Elvetia, la Montreux, unde Freddie are o statuie, mi-am zis: “Asta e omul care a dominat tot”.

translation:

"When I arrived in Switzerland in Montreux where Freddie's statue is, I said to myself " That's a guy that dominated everything"

The band's concert yesterday was awesome, and they tried some new arrangements as well, which sounded refreshing!

The marketing manager of Europa FM who organized the party, will have it on tape as well. If I obtain it, I will surely upload it to Rapidshare or Torrent if people are interested.

To be honest this guy could reach all the notes in "Don't stop me Now" and "The Show Must Go on" and it was a superb night out. And it's always nice to hear the major artists from this country say that "Freddie" is their idol ...

Stefan
