Can anybody please give a clever answer to my stupid question?
At the begining of WWRY in the ROTC dvd, Roger counts:"1,2,3,4" before he starts playing the beat. Since he is the only one to play in the intro, what is he counting for?

Thanx

I think this confirms that they were using a backing track for We Will Rock You. Roger counts so that is easier for everyone else to get in sync with the backing track. If you listen carefully to the choruses, you just might be able to hear that they used the original album version as backing vocals.
