Budapest, Nepstadion: 80000 (sold out)
Frejus, Amphitheatre: 15000 (sold out, but moved from a bigger venue: stade de l'ouest)
Barcelona: some say Monumental Plaza de Toros
-some say Mini Estadi de FCBarcelona, never the less: sold out, about 20000 (?)
Madrid, Rayo Vallecano: 45000 (sold out) - the offical capacity for this small stadium is much less... so i guess sold out with appr. 20000 (?)
Marbella, Estadio Municipal: 37000 (sold out, but also seems way too much, acc capacity I guess 28000 (?))
Stevenage, Knebworth Park: 120000 (more than sold out...appr 180000...)

Hope this is ok for you.

-some say Mini Estadi de FCBarcelona

That is correct, talked to a friend from Spain quite some time ago, while people say " I know some one " or "Talked",neverless he showed proof,by showing me pictures outside the venue before the show, a poster of Queen along a sidewall (seemed to be over 50 posters). While it does not show the name of the venue, he said that is Mini estadi, and since he lives in Barcelona, I take his word.

Frejus, Amphitheatre is correct, it was originally a venue in Nice, France, I think Fredo (forgive me is the name is wrong, but it has been a while) attended this show and also gave a story, Martin posted this at his site along with some pictures that Fredo took.

My source for the Barcelona show is not even a "big" Queen fan, he posted before on a Led Zep Board, posting he went to a Queen show in Spain, Naturally I had to email him and strike up a converstaion with him.

some one infos about Madrid Rayo Vallecano? really this stadium and 45000? (seems way way too much).

Well, all other infos i have from the book "QUEEN A Magc Tour" (1987) and I checked out the capacities of the venues and came to the concluson that all concerts from Spain have to have smaller numbers...

Also Munich, Zurich, Vienna, and two more nights in Leiden.

Personally I like the later date shows, Vienna-Budapest and onward, as Hammer to fall/CLTCL started to sound a hell of a lot better, you can tell the band was Jelling more(compare the solos in HTF), Freddie voice in top condition does not bother me much, compared to how the band was playing.

The band sound tighter on the later shows, but Freddie's voice is undeniably stronger at the beginning of the tour. He was already getting a bit hoarse by Mannheim, but of course there are exceptions. The best Magic tour performance I've heard is the first night at Wembley. Freddie had a strong night, and the band, while very tight overall, still had some loose and creative moments.

To be honest, I haven't listened to Frejus, Barcelona, Madrid, Marbella, and a few of the later June shows, so there could be some other goodies I've missed. I've just lost interest in the Magic tour in the last couple years, because it seems like a greatest hits setlist without any interest in taking musical chances. I'm sure the shows themselves were entertaining to attend, but since that's not possible now, I enjoy listening to 70s shows more because Queen's primary interest was the music. They were a rock band in the 70s, and a pop band in the 80s. I enjoy Queen as a rock band far more. In the 80s, their primary interest was the stage show, not the intricacy of the music. Their audience had mostly changed by then, and of course they knew it.

End of ramble... haha!

If I remember right, in Frejus Freddie played wrong during WATC. It's probably the only mistake Freddie made ever!

on stage you mean...?

Off stage Freddie made tons of mistakes. Not wearing a rubber was the most common and fatal mistake Freddie ever made.

So damn true. Freddie made tons of mistakes on stage also. He is not perfect, no God or superhero. C'mon Stepfords, snap out of that dream.

I believe he felt asleep during that song. What happened?

It reminds me of those situations when you´re driving a car, then you get sleepy, then something happens, you wake up not knowing whats going on!!- Strange.

Take care
