'Nevermore' on Radio 3FM in the Netherlands.
It was on a special day when the DJ's could play their own personal favourite music. Can't remember which DJ it was.

"See What a Fool I've Been", on XM 40 Deep Tracks.

They also occasionally play Brian's "Last Horizon".

I once heard Need Your Loving Tonight as part of a three-song series on 97.9 WLUP Chicago. Now THAT is rare.

You always hear WWRY/WATC and AOBTD and CLTCL, but never NYLT, huh? lol

We can only bow to the here and now

No. The classic rock station in my area has this program Blue Moon Cafe, where they play the more nostalgic hits from Classic Rock bands. On Christmas, they played Christmas songs made my mostly Classic Rock artists. "Thank God..." was one of them.

Here in Portugal Queen is one of the most played bands on the mainstream radio, so it's usual to hear Queen on the radio. Thank God It's Christmas plays like a single evry Xmas time for example... From what I read here, I'm starting to think that the portuguese radios aren't as bad as i thouhgt =P

Hearing any Queen songs on radio stations here is a shock really, but I guess the only royal "shocker" was hearing Dragon Attack.

Um, considering they don't play 90% of the Queen stuff on the radio, I'd say...they're mostly pretty rare.

I Want It All is one of the only songs being played here. Along with Killer Queen and BoRhap and maybe The Miracle.

I heard on Dutch Radio "Who Wants to Live Forever" sung by Brian's daughter (I think it was Emily) ... which was a big shock, since she doesn't sing in tune very much though

It was a special Radio show with "rarities" anyway

It is the memory or the occassion that makes it special not the song:

Years ago I remember being in Copenhagen at the Hard Rock cafe and they played, love is the hero by Billy squier. At that time I never heard the song, but being a queen fanatic I knew that Freddie sung on the 12" version of that song, so it was weird to here the sentence: 'love is the hero'...I thought: hey that must be that song....

The coolest thing I ever heard on radio was a on a tape from 1980. My dad had taped a radioshow on cassete because John Lennon was murdered. On that radio show, a dj announces: "and now the next single of Queen: 'Flash'. That was a cool thing to hear.

I also remember the first time they played 'Heaven for everyone on the radio' It was a special moment for me, I was 12 years old and this was the first time I heard a new Queen song on the radio...
I also remember Too much love will kill you by Brian, it was number one back in the day when I heard it on radio.
